With the backing of the Maine Arts Commission SMART Grant, Tales Told created an interdisciplinary educational project that blends film, theater, oral history, and identity. Together with the Cobscook Community Learning Center, The Maine Coast Heritage Trust, and Passamaquoddy historian Donald Soctomah, Lee and Jody created an experiential learning project for students in the CCLC’s Community Year Alternative High School: A documentary film on the Life of John Allan, the Forgotten Patriot of the American Revolution.
